The dtc p34c4 set again after swapping the motors. My next step was to swap the actuator motors from bank1 to bank 2. I also checked the temp sensor with actuator plugged in, both read aprox 1.5-1.7v warm engine. I decided to do some open circuit comparative testing for bank 1 and 2 intake actuator position/ temp sensors which ended in no definitive direction. Nissan's diagnostic service information says replace actuator motor assembly for p34c4. I noticed when driving both exhaust timing pids are now reading -1-+1 degrees (pre repair bank 1 would not fall under 13 degrees however i could see the ecm phase the cams) now for some reason the ecm will not phase the exhaust or the intake even when the dtc is not set. After repairs were completed the P34C4 will set intermittently. The timing chains/guides, intake and exhaust gears/phaser have been replaced do to excessive wear and DTC'S P0017 and P0014. Im looking for some direction on dtcP34C4 Intake camshaft position actuator control circuit driver current/temperature too high bank 1.
